Short Definition
The unique address by which a consist can be accessed. See MU consist.

The unique address by which a consist can be accessed. The Consist Addresses occupy the same address space as the Primary Address. It is possible for conflicts to arise between multifunction decoders assigned primary addresses and consist addresses. Most DCC systems are configured to assign consist addresses starting with 127 and decrement that value as required. Their software should prevent conflicts.

This address is stored in CV19. When the consist is broken up the command station will send instructions to clear this CV.
