Our goal is provide free knowledge about every aspect of DCC and model railroading to every modeler.
DCCWiki needs computing power, storage, domain registration, and network resources to distribute DCCWiki and it's related content. The content of these projects is provided to the public free of charge - and we want to keep it this way.
How your donation will help
All our pages are are free from advertisements. Visitors are not charged to edit, read or use our content. We rely entirely on donations to fund this site. Our costs include bandwidth (getting this page to you), hard drive storage, purchase of DCCWiki's domain names (dccforall.com, dccwiki.com, dccwiki.info to name a few), and time spent to keep everything running smoothly (software upgrades, data backups, etc).
Although, we are just getting started, it still costs money to pay for hosting and domain registration fees. Mitch has been paying these fees out of his pocket, however, as storage and bandwidth costs rises, more donations are needed to keep this site free.

We plan to keep DCCWiki free from advertisements (they just annoy us). Visitors are not charged to edit, read, or use the DCCWiki content. We rely entirely on donations to fund this site.
We decided to go ahead and start accepting donations to repay Mitch and to increase storage and bandwidth allocations. We decided to use paypal since there was no setup fees, only they take a few pennies on each donated dollar. You do not need to have a PayPal account to make a donation to us through their service. Sorry, we cannot accept any other forms of payment - we are just not setup to handle this.
